Boiler Control Panels (1)
Control Panels for Superior Boilers are outdoor reset control systems to stage three or more boilers in response to heating loads. Quite often, boilers are designed to cycle via their lower and upper limit switches, and most control systems default to this as a fail-safe mode. However, if the limits are not correctly set or if multiple boilers are involved, a number of conditions can occur that will lead to inefficient firing and staging, or short cycling. A control panel avoids this by providing a planned approach to system management. By effectively matching the response to the heat load, placing controls over firing cycles, and adding the features of setbacks and boiler rotation, Superior's control system can greatly improve overall system versatility and efficiency.
The Dispatcher Control PanelThe key to a successful modular boiler plant is the lead-lag sequencer, which can transform multiple individual boilers into a single, highly efficient, system. The Triad Dispatcher reflects the state-of-the-art in multiple boiler control and is available for both hydronic and steam applications. The Dispatcher is manufactured for Triad by a respected leader in the boiler controls industry. The Dispatcher was created to combine a high end sequencer with the unique requirements of modular Triad installations. The end result of our efforts is a powerful and flexible yet easy-to-use boiler sequencer.
Boiler Deaerator Systems (1)
The Superior Boiler Deaerator Systems are Complete Packaged Systems, designed, built and stamped in accordance with the ASME code for 50 PSIG. Constructed with all stainless steel direct contact internal vent condenser, all stainless steel adjustable spray valve(s) and a 10 minute minimum storage capacity. Standard Spray and Tray designs incrementally sized from 3,500 up to 300,000 lbs. per hour. Standard sizes will adequately cover most boiler sizes and operating pressures up to 250 psig. Larger sizes are available upon request.
Boiler Economizers (1)
High fuel prices are here to stay. If your boiler is not equipped with an economizer then you're losing energy through your stack. Superior Boiler's economizer was developed to recover this wasted energy while being easy to install and maintain. Your payback depends on your fuel costs, average loading, and hours of operation. We provide an automated program to allow you to see the type of savings your application will realize. Superior offers models to cover the smallest commercial boilers to the largest industrial watertube boilers. Our software also calculates the heat recovery for condensing applications. All Superior economizers provide for easy ongoing maintenance featuring removable tubes that connect to the headers with a compression fitting. Repairs are fast, easy, and require no welding. Replacement tube elements are kept in stock allowing for rapid dispatch to minimize downtime. Since every tube makes its own circuit you can even operate your unit with one tube out of service to maintain your energy savings while waiting for a convenient time to shut down to perform the repair. Cleaning the tube bundle is fast and easy. When the boiler is offline simply unbolt the rear access door and use a water spray to hose out the bundle. Water catch drain assemblies in the bottom of the unit will collect and drain the water from the unit and prevent it from entering the boiler.
Boiler Feed Water Tanks (1)
The Superior Boiler package condensate return and feed water units are completely automatic systems for the recovery of condensate and the feeding of boilers. The standard units are sized to handle condensate up to 190° degrees Fahrenheit. Higher temperature condensate can be handled with modified units. Consult factory.
Boiler Room Blowdown Separators (1)
Superior Boiler Blowdown Separator is designed to receive the boiler blowdown water, reduce it to atmospheric pressure, and cool it before releasing it for safe disposal. Constructed of ASME Code boiler plate, it meets or exceeds the design requirements of ASME Section VIII, Division 1 for 150 psig, and stamped accordingly. Eight standard sizes will adequately cover most boiler sizes and operating pressures up to 250 psig. Custom sizes and pressures are available.
