HUTCHINSON, KAN., (Aug. 14, 2024) – Central Christian School of Hutchinson, Kansas, is pleased to announce an important partnership with Superior Boiler of Hutchinson. This partnership will see Superior Boiler providing financial support for the construction of a new child care facility at Central Christian School, marking a pivotal development in the school’s commitment to expanding early childhood education in the community.
The new child care facility, which will be on Central Christian School’s campus, aims to offer a nurturing and innovative learning environment for young children. This expansion will double the capacity of its current center, while providing services to the growing needs of local residents in Reno County.
“We are incredibly grateful for Superior Boiler’s generous support,” said Dr. John Walker, Superintendent of Central Christian School. “This partnership assists us in meeting our financial and strategic goals toward a new child care center and reflects the deeply impactful support the Lord has provided.” The new facility will provide child care services to children ages six weeks old through school age. Central Christian School has operated a preschool and child care facility since 1980, a total of 44 years, making it one of the longest-tenured child care centers in Reno County.
Superior Boiler, a leading provider of industrial boiler solutions with deep roots in the Hutchinson community, is excited to invest in the future of local families through this initiative and support its own employees who need access to child care. “Supporting education and community development is at the heart of our values,” stated Doug Wright, Chairman of Superior Boiler, LLC. “We are honored to contribute to Central Christian School’s mission and to be part of this meaningful project that will benefit countless children and families.”
The new child care center is set to include modern classrooms, creative indoor and outdoor play areas, and spaces designed to provide a safe and engaging learning experience for young children. Construction is expected to commence in August 2024, with the facility anticipated to open its doors in the spring of 2025.
Central Christian School and Superior Boiler are eager to see this project come to fruition and to continue their shared commitment to enhancing the community’s educational landscape.
